I’d like to take a few minutes out my lazy and no-life schedule to talk about the fall season. Currently, I’m watching about 7 series but there are a few that I’m not sure if I want to continue with. I really just couldn’t make up my mind. Some I dropped but then I decided that I would try it again after seeing some posts about that series. They made me realize that I may like it and that I should give it another chance.

I hate apologizing for not posting. It should not be an issue because I should be posting at least post once a week. But you all know me I get distracted easily. Anyways, sorry for being lazy and neglecting this blog. I will try harder.

Enough of the Summer season has passed that I’ve seen a bit of every series. Honestly, I don’t think this season is all the bad. It has its good series and crappy series. But that’s just like every season. Anyways, I’ve seen enough of the season to come up with a few my favorites of the season. I’d like to point out that I probably would have added the new Zero no Tsukaima series. But I’ve not actually watched any of it yet. So anyways, here are the series that following.

I’m not sure what to say about Someday’s Dreamers: Summer Skies (aka Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora). I just loved it. So far it has to be my favorite series so far this summer. Of course, I have not seen to much summer stuff and the fact that I’ve only seen one episode of this. So it is a bit hard to judge if a series is good just from the first episode. But I’m optimistic about it and I really think this will something that I will enjoy.

So what do I like about this series? Well, I think Sora just is too cute and I will enjoy watching her learn about the world outside her country home. The character designs are not especially amazing. They are rather simple but I like it that way, having depth and an interesting personality can be more important than anything else. I didn’t really get much from the music. It seems ok but not my favorite but it does match the series I guess. I will have to listen to it more to see if I like it.

So the summer season really gets into full swing next week. I’m actually excited for this season because there are a lot of sequels that I’m happy to see. Honestly, several of the new shows I just finished their first seasons like a few weeks ago. So they are actually fresh in my mind which is nice. Besides the sequels the season doesn’t really have anything going for it. And I can see how this will be considered a weak season for those who have no interest in the sequels or the new stuff. I would be in the same boat as you if I didn’t care about the shows but luckily I’m not.

This post is actually my post on the shows I’m checking out this summer. Just about all the sequels I will be watching except for Slayers. Slayers is not on my list because I’ve never seen the original series. I would go back and watch them but there is just too many episodes to see. And besides I’m not really interested in it to begin with. Moving out, there are not too many new stuff I’m watching. Most of those I just have no interest in. But I will be at least watching one episode to give them their fair share.

I wanted to get this post out before the Summer season really gets started. A few Summer series come out this June but I see July as really when the Summer season really gets going. Most of the Summer series start in July, anyways.

Anyways, this post is basically my top ten favorite series of the season. So of the top 5 or so were really hard to chose. Mostly because I really like them a lot and its was hard to pick one over the other. But I went ahead and made the choices the best I could. I would actually say that I like the first 5 equally. Now to let you know I like all these series it’s just I like some more than others.
