FLCL Boxset Gone?

May 27, 2008 at 6:38 pm under DVD

Well I guess I actually will be missing out of the FLCL boxset. Today, RACS sold out on the boxset. However, I’m not sure if the version at TRSI is the same as the one that was available at RACS. The TRSI version is the Ultimate DVD Collection and the one at RACS is Collectors Edition DVD Boxed Set (Limited Edition). Not really sure if they are the same. Maybe I will not be missing out of this series after all. Then again there is alway ebay.

Also I’m not sure if TRSI’s On Order From Manufacturer availability is the same as RACS’ Sold Out availabilty. TRSI could be sold out as well. Suck if it would. One last tidbit, TRSI’s version is published by Broccoli while RACS is published by Synch-Point.

Anyone have any information if the Ultimate DVD Collection and the Collectors Edition boxset is the same?

Looks to be the same thing by reading the package details. I have this and they both seem to describe what I have. And yeah, on-order means it’s out of stock and they will try and get more from the manufacturer if someone places an order.

@super rats: That’s basically what I figured. I was hoping they where to different ones.

But how do you explain the different publishers?

Brocolli is the parent of Sync-Point iirc or they have some form of relationship. Both Brocolli and Sync-Point have a logo on the bottom of the box.

@super rats: Ok, that explains it. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess my luck to get this series is run out.
