More Trigun Coming

May 12, 2007 at 10:58 pm under news

This is just awesome because I’m a big fan of Trigun, anime and manga. The Anime Blog reports that the creator of Trigun (Yasuhiro Nightow) is working on a new Trigun anime series. Apparently, David (The Anime Blog writer) heard this from a very reliable source at ACEN 2007.

I’ve been reading the manga now for a month or two and I enjoy it a bit more than the anime series. The story is a bit different but it’s a nice addition to the series. I just hope this new series will include more of what’s in the manga. Really I don’t even mind if its a remake of the original series although it probably will not be. Who knows?

    Do Vash & Meryl ever get it on?
    That’s all I care about. XD

    @Hinano: lol

    How much did the anime depart from the manga in the way it ended? I haven’t read the manga, so I hope this new anime wouldn’t be too different. I thought the anime took a long time to really hit its groove, but when it did it was pretty intense.

    Vash and Meryl…. but isn’t Vash supposed to be a plant or something like that…?

    @DS: Trigun Maximum is not a vast departure from the series but things happen a bit differently. Seeing the anime really helps to understand somethings about the manga.

    BTW, I’ve not read the original two volumes of Trigun and I’ve only read 3 volumes of Trigun Maximum. The anime helped me to jump into Trigun Maximum without reading the original Trigun.

    I didn’t mention this earlier but the manga is different enough from the anime to make it interesting.

    @DS: Thanks. I wanted to do something that was of a more recent series. And I just really like Konata also it works well with the color blue.
